Sysleriget - Silk Mohair

Sysleriget Silk Mohair is a delicious and exclusive yarn. The yarn consists of 72% kid mohair and 28% silk.

Our silk mohair is spun in Italy. It is incredibly soft, and we find that it sheds far less than other qualities. The mohair wool comes from Angora goats in South Africa and is traceable back to the farm. Our mohair is certified with the RMS label (Responsible Mohair Standard), and it is produced under orderly conditions for both animals and people. The production helps to stimulate economic growth, as jobs are created for many people in poor areas. 

Use Sysleriget Silk Mohair as a trailing thread in your knitting for a fluffy and delicate expression.
As always, the yarn is dyed in very small portions, and all color is applied by hand. There are therefore no two fat alike. Therefore, always remember to order enough yarn for your project, as a later dyeing will never be identical.
